- Use within our service: We use this data only to (1) identify your connected account and show which channel is linked, (2) list your YouTube channels so you can choose which one to connect, and (3) upload videos to your selected channel when you explicitly choose to publish from StoryOn. Data is processed on our infrastructure and, when necessary to perform the action you requested (for example, uploading a video), is sent to Google's APIs in accordance with Google's API Terms of Service.
- Service providers: We may use service providers (such as hosting and infrastructure providers) that process data on our behalf to operate our service. These providers are bound by contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of StoryOn, our users, or the public.
- Retention: We retain Google/YouTube connection data (such as tokens and linked channel information) only for as long as your YouTube account (or Google account, when used for connection) remains connected to StoryOn. We do not retain this data after you disconnect.
- How to disconnect or revoke access: You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time from your StoryOn account settings (e.g. Social / Integrations or linked-accounts page). Disconnecting stops our use of your Google/YouTube data and removes our access. You can also revoke StoryOn's access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
- Account deletion: If you delete your StoryOn account, we delete your account data, including any linked Google/YouTube connection data, within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days) in line with our data deletion practices. After that, we no longer hold or use your Google user data.
